In a large arena it is difficult to communicate with the sound control people? short of screaming and even then they may not hear what you are saying to them. I have numerous bootlegs of Zep wherein Bonzo for instance is yelling out to the soundman to turn up the volume on his snare. Jones may have had that setup to be able to ask for adjustments as the concert progressed.

I love Johnny Cash, lol. My grandpa was best friends with him for more than 20 years. My grandpa is Jack Shaw. Look it up somewhere if you don't believe me. I never really knew John, because I was still kind of little when he died, but he'd come over and talk to me and stuff. They played this song when my mom died, 8? years ago. Johnny was an amazing person and his music is awesome. He was a devoted Christian and loved God very much. My grandpa still misses him a lot. :) No joke.

Emma uses different techniques to show the depth and maturity of her voice not just constantly wobbling , plus she does use vibrato, just in important parts that highlight the lyrics that she is singing!? In fact, I'm sure I heard from someone who knows these things that Kirkby's vibrato can be as much as a semitone wide on each side of the sung note. The difference between her and many other sopranos is that she can decide when to use it? and how to use it. Her vibrato is often very quick so we don't notice the breadth of it. Rosen says something about how violinists and singers both suffer from an excess of vibrato these days: they rely on the moment's grace they get to almost hit the pitch and then adjust. None of that here! Normally I find soprano voice? unbearable, the vibrato too piercing and bleating like you said. This sound is just gorgeous though!

People who say she has no vibrato are simply ignorant of the functions of the vocal mechanism; the level of vibrato she uses is an artistic choice.? Human expression is neither dependent upon straight tone or vibrato singing, but on the consciousness of artistic choice within that expression.

Dave matthews concerts (I have never been but I have seen video footage) are a cornucopia of drunk college? students wearing kilts, free consumption of cheap domestic beer, "scavengers" looking for hits of other peoples weed, and flute solos. There are a decent amount of hot bitches but you have to wade through a thick sea of fraternity homos and high school scenesters.
