Unlike US political prisoners, so called Chinese 'dissidents' benefit from due legal process. Details of the crimes that they were convicted for are in the public realm. Find the details for yourself. Those who? were kidnapped, tortured and detained in Guantanomo with no prospect of a fair trial can only dream of such treatment.

Governments have a responsibility to act against paid agents of foreign powers who seek to destabilise society. China? is no different in this respect from any other government.
